Frequently Asked Questions

FAQs

What Food Do They Eat? What Is the Feeding Schedule?

We always feed our dogs some type of GRAIN FREE dry food, but we do change it from time to time so they can have a well-rounded diet. We will inform you what food we are feeding the dogs when you contact us and ask. While they are puppies we let them have food available from about 8 am until about 5 pm at the latest, but we only feed our adults once a day. This puppy schedule helps with the crate training / housebreaking. A small bag of food is given with each puppy.

What Do I Get With an Abounding Puppy?

Each puppy comes with a Vaccination Record, a Bill of Sale / Health Guarantee, Parents' Health Certifications, DNA Tests, and / or Champion Title(s) when applicable, a 4-Generation Pedigree, Puppy Instructions, and a small bag of food. The AKC Registration is optional.

Can I Pre-Select My Future Puppy's Parents?

We would advise against getting your hopes up for a specific puppy in a litter that is not born yet. The specific combination Dog A x Dog B may not produce what you are looking due to silent heats, a breeding that does not take, or chance (the desired gender and color not being born). Please contact us when you are ready for a puppy; we can then tell you what color and gender we have available and who the parents are at that time.

Can I come visit the puppies?

Absolutely! However, the puppies must be at least 6 weeks old and have had their first shots to make sure they are already immunized. Must be a pre-screened, approved family.

How Early Can I Send You My Deposit?

Once you've completed the Puppy Placement Questionnaire and are approved, you will receive an email or phone call with the next step to take. Usually you can send in your non-refundable deposit if I have the puppy available. We rarely accept deposits for puppies before they are born and advise against it due to availability.

Do You Accept Paypal? Credit Cards?

I do not accept any Credit Cards or Paypal. If picking up the puppy in person, payments can be made by cash or by an instant transfer using Cash App or Zelle. Personal Checks, Money Orders, Cashier's Checks, USPS Money Orders, Wire Transfers (please add $16 extra), Online Bank-to-Bank Transfers (I bank with Wells Fargo)... these are all acceptable forms of payments, however they take longer to clear my bank. All funds must be cleared before the dog is transferred to the new owner.
